The Calm Births course is the perfect combination of both education and relaxation, covering the physiology of hormones and birth and how to combine this knowledge with effective relaxation techniques to achieve the calm and controlled birth you dream of. Our bodies are deeply connected to our minds, so by learning how to achieve a relaxed and positive mindset we allow our bodies to work in the way they are designed to.
During the course you will learn simple techniques to find calm and relaxation whenever you desire, whilst maintaining complete control and awareness to your surroundings. And don't worry... you do not need to be a someone who practices meditation and mindfulness to master this state of relaxation. The techniques are easy to follow, and have the sole aim of making you feel calm.
You will learn how and why birthing doesn't need to be painful (or look anything like they do in the movies!), about the physiology and hormones involved and what you can do to be in control of your birth. These tools, along with other practical techniques for birthing, will empower you to have the safe, calm and gentle birth you deserve. The Hypnobirthing techniques taught in the course apply to all kinds of birth, whether it be a vaginal birth or a Caesarean.
The Mind Body Mother classes are kept informal and relaxed, creating lots of opportunity for questions, discussion and diving deep into the areas you are most keen to explore.. You and your chosen birth partner have the opportunity to either attend our group classes with up to 4 other women & birth partners or to take the classes on a 1:1 basis in the comfort of your own home.

Hypnobirthing for C-Section
The Calm Birth's course is designed to teach you the skills to feel calm and in control for all kinds of birth, including surgical births. This course will prepare you for what to expect on the day, and teach you how to use hypnobirthing relaxation techniques to help you to feel more calm and positive.
